The 3rd World Organic Youth Conference brought together young people from over 14 countries and explored the past, present and future of the organic sector. There were inter-generational exchanges between organic pioneers and young leaders, and the experiences shared, and lessons learnt will become the basis of a transformation into a more sustainable lifestyle.
The Conference highlighted that organic food and farming are part of the solution to many of today’s challenges – foremost the climate and biodiversity crises. The organic principles of health, ecology, fairness, and care apply to people, all living beings and the planet’s ecosystem. Therefore, a transformation into an organic way of life will be a solution to overcoming the climate crisis and the continuing destruction of the environment.
