In partnership with Xichong County, Sichuan Province, China, IFOAM-Organics Asia announces the results of the 2023 Organic Medal of Honor based on the decision of the 7-member International Selection Committee.
The two winners of the 2023 Organic Medal of Honor are as follows:
– Takahata Organic Farming Promotion Council, Japan
– Dr Debal Deb, India
The two winners will receive a commemorative plaque and a cash prize of US$ 5,000 (five thousand dollars) each. IFOAM-Organics Asia has received 12 submissions from six countries around the world and would like to express its sincere gratitude to all the other applicants. Their stories have been equally inspirational, and all submissions deserve to receive high praise for their vision and dedication to the promotion of organic agriculture in the world.
