Winners of the 2021 Organic Medal of Honor
On behalf of Xichong County, Sichuan Province, China, IFOAM-Organics Asia is pleased to announce the results of the 2021 Organic Medal of Honor based on the decision of the Selection Committee.
The two winners of the 2021 Organic Medal of Honor are:
BIO-KG Federation of Organic Development (Kyrgyzstan) and BioFarm Institute (China)
The two winners will receive a commemorative plaque and a cash prize of US$ 5000 (five thousand dollars) each.
The Selection Committee decided on the following Honorable Mentions:
Mary Vattamattam (India) and the Civil Institute on Rice Farming (Japan)
IFOAM-Organics Asia has received 15 submissions from seven countries around the world and would like to express its sincere gratitude to all the other applicants. Their stories have been equally inspirational, and all submissions deserve to receive high praise for their vision and dedication to the promotion of organic agriculture in the world.
