Ada is the founder of Abovefarm, an independent organization focusing on farms’ sustainability rating and public communication in sustainable food, life and thinking. In the past more than 8 years, Abovefarm has developed its own rating system by on-site research of hundreds of organic farms around the world. Ada has also initiated many innovative programs to organic communication, such as Above Organic Geek to applying scientific tools to measure the effectiveness of organic food and life, Above Design to promote sustainable design, Above Seeds for preserving traditional seeds in a close-looped business model, Above Kitchen to promote organic food in creative cooking, Above Wild to promote farms’ biodiversity. In 2021, Abovefarm first published a farm’s biodiversity assessment tool and then recognized by the academic journal Ecological Indicators in 2022.

Before founding Abovefarm, Ada is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Forbes China. She is now also a contributor to Forbes China, Financial Times Chinese, LOHAS magazine and some other influential media.
