October 16th to 18th, 2024 New Taipei City, Taiwan

Based on the success of the 1st International Conference on School Meals and Public Procurement held virtually in June 2022, the Government of New Taipei City, Asian Local Governments for Organic Agriculture (ALGOA) and the Global Alliance of Organic Districts (GAOD) will co-organize a physical conference from October 16th to 18th, 2024. IFOAM Organics Asia implements the event in partnership with the Association of Taiwanese Indigenous Peoples’ Development.

The upcoming conference will bring together experts, practitioners, representatives from international organizations, and central and local governments from all continents and regions to exchange best practices and follow up on common objectives to increase school meals and public procurement as pathways to manifest sustainable food systems, net carbon and achieve the SDGs.

The international conference is supported by the International Network of Organic Farming Organizations (INOFO), Women in Organic Agriculture in Asia (WOAA), Young Organics Global Network (YOGN), United Nations Organic Food Systems Program, and ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability.
